Harz Cheese

The Harz mountains do not only provide ideal living conditions for sprout. Venison, which is just as delicious, originates from the local woods.
And there is another speciality coming from the low mountain range region: the Harz cheese. As cheese made of curdled milk, it is one of the oldest cheese types and has been a down-to-earth and healthy delicacy until today. 75 percent of all curdled milk cheeses are produced in Niedersachsen and are delivered to the cheese counters in Germany from there.
